Dark modules on a light background are the safest. Keep a blank quiet zone around the QR and avoid covering too much of the pattern with a logo or decorative frame.
Scan the downloaded file and, for print work, scan a proof at the real physical size. Confirm the destination or payment detailsβnot just whether the camera recognizes the code.
QR codes can hide a long destination behind a small pattern. Before sharing one publicly, verify the domain, phone number, payment ID or network credentials and use a clear label that matches the action.
No. The basic QR and barcode generator on the homepage works without an account. Login is used for features such as saved customer data, company profile and document history.
You can create QR codes for website links, plain text, WiFi access, UPI payment details, vCards, WhatsApp messages and email. Code128 barcode creation is also available.
Yes. Upload a small logo and AeroQR places it in the center of the preview and exported PNG. Always test the final code after adding a logo.
There is no single size for every use. A code on a business card can be smaller than one on a poster. Generate at a larger size for print work, maintain white space around it, and test from the expected scan distance.
The basic homepage QR rendering is handled in the browser. Some separate tools may use server-side features when you choose to save data or use a connected API; see the Privacy Policy for details.
Low contrast, a very small printed size, excessive logo coverage, a damaged code or insufficient blank margin can reduce scan reliability. Return to a dark-on-light design and test again.
The QR pattern itself does not have a built-in expiry date. A website QR can stop being useful if the encoded page is removed, the domain changes or the destination is no longer available.
No. The data is encoded directly into the printed pattern. If you need a different URL or contact detail, create and print a new QR unless the old QR points to a stable page that you control and can update.
SVG is useful for scalable artwork because it stays sharp at different sizes. A large PNG can also print well. Avoid taking a tiny raster preview and enlarging it heavily.
Yes. Use a short URL or vCard, preserve the quiet zone, print a proof at actual card size and scan the final card before producing a large quantity.
A scannable QR is not payment confirmation. Check the transaction in your own bank or payment application before treating the order or invoice as paid.
For shops and offices, a guest network is generally more appropriate for visitors than sharing the same credentials used by internal business devices. Replace the QR whenever the guest password changes.
